Meet Bill Carney

Bill Carney has served buyers and sellers in Southeastern North Carolina real estate since becoming a NAR Member in 2014. He completed his GRI designation in 2019 and later earned the respected Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist credential, a natural complement to his experience as an advisor and property owner on the Brunswick barrier islands. Bill is known for his thorough approach, calm problem-solving, and steady loyalty to his clients. His background as Team Gale’s veteran resource for distressed and bank-owned properties gives him unique insight into contracts, pricing strategy, and investment potential.

Before real estate, Bill earned a BA in Business Administration at Franklin and Marshall College and built a 30-year career in federal service with the US Postal Service. That experience shaped his disciplined work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to service. Today, he brings those same strengths to every transaction. Bill advises clients confidently on investment properties, amenity communities, and relocation across our coastal region. His focus is always on clear communication, honest, straight talk, and dependable follow-through so clients can make smart decisions without confusion.

Bill enjoys cruises, church involvement, and time on the water. Above all, Bill believes service to the community and care for his neighbors are most important, and he proves it every day through kindness and commitment to the people he serves.
